The station, located at the intersection between the two main avenues of the city , presented a logistical challenge. To counter this, a raised park was conceived to ease congestion at this busy juction and to allow pedestrians space to circulate freely. This solution also accentuate the view of the distinguised cathedral, while eliminating the view of the traffic from above.
