ORLA RIO . Rio Waterfront . 1999
In 1999, the city of Rio de Janeiro issued a public tender to redesign the kiosks along Rio de Janeiro’s waterfront, from Leme to Prainha, including Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, São Conrado and Barra da Tijuca, replacing the 309 existing kiosks along the beach boulevard. The company Orla Rio contracted the design and architectural services of our company to participate in the tender and won. Since then we’ve been assisting with the gradual implementation of the new kiosks, which have been embraced by the general population.
