The project, which was effectively a renovation, consisted of remodeling the spaces without adding to the constructed area. From the original project, only the reinforced concrete structure was preserved. This intervention focused mainly on the social areas of the Jockey Club. Architecture and decoration are integrated harmoniously and with simplicity, creating well defined social spaces. The finishing materials were chosen for their strength, durability and ease of maintenance. This was achieved by incorporating an architectural language attuned to elements that are characteristic of the race track (such as wood, awnings, etc.), creating a gentle, sports-like and casual architecture, without taking away from the sports’ traditional elegance.
