While from its base rough stone walls grow rigidly and strongly, the metal roof structure makes it look as if it were floating without any support. There is a strong integration with nature in the project since the chapel was built over a river that widens itself as a lake underneath the stone altar. A cross is formed through the intersection of metal beams coming from the building and is composed by four lines (instead of two). This allows to observe it from any angle maintaining its cross’ shape.
