Indio da Costa A.U.D.T`s approach for the project focused on the users experience. We used a specific methodology which strived to better address and understand the user’s needs and wishes and by doing it propose solutions that may be focused on specific needs according to our targeted profiles, neutralizing all the traveling context tensions allowing a trouble free and enjoyable travelling experience.
The process started with a “debriefing”, followed by interviews with some “heavy users”. . These inputs really showed the vast diversity of passenger’s profiles. On top of those inputs, 4 personas were defined (according to each profile identified). They were the foundations for the use of tools such as the “Affinity Diagram” and the “Costumer Journey Experience”, where we designed, on top of the Lounge schematics, the users path simulated scenario for each individual persona. The services and all the layouts and Mood atmospheres were created from those studies and Intel.

Inspired by these vigorous artistic roots, the design concept highlights the human aspect of services and ambiance by gathering Brazilian native materials, giving privilege to natural lighting, bringing the aspect of freshness in F&B, and pointing up the natural talent for hospitality of Brazilian people, that reflected on the attitude of the staff and the special treats designed to fascinate.
